The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Duke Munoz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Hauche's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Hauche in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duke Munoz saved S.D. Bajen from getting behind. If Lincoln Hand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Maní FC's goalkeeper Pascual Pitin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kacper Wasikowski. 25 minutes into the match, Gabriel Hauche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duke Munoz. S.D. Bajen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Hauche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Maní FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Alcides Berardo hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, one of S.D. Bajen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for S.D. Bajen. S.D. Bajen:s Duke Munoz showed great skill when he stopped Luis Musko:s penalty. Pascual Pitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lincoln Hand, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Duke Munoz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Hauche was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute João Rodrigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Pitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in S.D. Bajen's zone, Gabriel Hauche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duke Munoz came out of the goal and Gabriel Hauche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 61 minutes, Gabriel Hauche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maní FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Hauche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Foster Contreras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Duke Munoz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Hauche. 64 minutes into the match, Maní FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lincoln Hand came free, but Pascual Pitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 played minutes S.D. Bajen got a freekick which was hit by Lincoln Hand. S.D. Bajen's Ulysses Baldwin was substituted for Sam Malone. The supporters of Maní FC booed when S.D. Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lincoln Hand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Hauche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duke Munoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lincoln Hand in the 71st minute of play forced Maní FC's goalkeeper Pascual Pitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Hauche scored 1-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duke Munoz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Duke Munoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Hauche, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Pascual Pitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Rodrigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see S.D. Bajen lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
