Luis Musko was slow to take the kick. During this time Maní FC's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Toto Arebam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independência Futebol's supporters rose to their feet, but Toto Arebam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Pitin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Hauche scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jakob Heinicke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 21 minutes Independência Futebol's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luis Musko who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Luis Musko almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Independência Futebol's Jakob Heinicke did a great save. Jakob Heinicke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Hauche, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Maní FC's Gabriel Hauche sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jakob Heinicke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26thth minute of the game Gabriel Hauche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independência Futebol's Jakob Heinicke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Independência Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Hauche came free, but Jakob Heinicke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Independência Futebol made a substitution. Roger Arruda replaced Ronaldinho Gaúcho. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Hauche made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Astor Urtun in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascual Pitin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Gabriel Hauche came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Maní FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Hauche couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Independência Futebol's goalkeeper Jakob Heinicke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maní FC were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Independência Futebol's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luis Musko took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Hauche in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jakob Heinicke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Independência Futebol:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maní FC:s goal. Thanks to some nice moves Gabriel Hauche could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Jakob Heinicke however easily saved by the left post. Gabriel Hauche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jakob Heinicke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Maní FC booed when Independência Futebol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Carlos Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Independência Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Hauche came free, but Jakob Heinicke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Hauche received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jakob Heinicke came out and tried to block the shot, but Gabriel Hauche slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 87th minute. After 92 played minutes Independência Futebol got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Vaz. The crowd rose to their feet as Gabriel Hauche kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jakob Heinicke. That made the score 0-6 in the 96 minute of play. When the match was over Maní FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Independência Futebol throughout the match.
