But to his dismay, Jan-Olof Kämpe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Kämpe in the 6th minute of play forced Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristo Colas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristo Colas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vaggelis Lalas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Locaio in the 29th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Almeyra F.C. defense, Jan-Olof Kämpe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristo Colas. The Almeyra F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristo Colas should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s Adan Otsoko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vaggelis Lalas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saverio Locaio in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vaggelis Lalas saved YELLOW FC from getting behind. A collision led to YELLOW FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Nontas Ntalakouras hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes YELLOW FC got a freekick which was hit by Evripidis Zoubadellis. With a little luck, YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas got control of the ball when Adan Otsoko tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Almeyra F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. YELLOW FC were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adan Otsoko to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Eutichios Panagakos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, YELLOW FC's Jan-Olof Kämpe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristo Colas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Olof Kämpe got free with Cristo Colas in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Locaio in the 60th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Esteban Urtsua was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almeyra F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave YELLOW FC the free kick. A collision led to Almeyra F.C. getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. After having played for 70 minutes, Jan-Olof Kämpe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YELLOW FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Olof Kämpe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Almeyra F.C.'s Braulio Txanton was substituted for Adan Otsoko. Vaggelis Lalas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Txanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristo Colas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Grosso in the 76th minute. Braulio Txanton charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Braulio Txanton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of YELLOW FC booed when Almeyra F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Txanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Avraam Sevastopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the YELLOW FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Avraam Sevastopoulos couldn't finish the play. Cayetano Sarracino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Vaggelis Lalas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Olof Kämpe hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the game, Avraam Sevastopoulos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristo Colas. Avraam Sevastopoulos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Txanton in the 91st minute of play forced YELLOW FC's goalkeeper Vaggelis Lalas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. YELLOW FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
