Teodosio Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Silvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Silvino in the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of AZURDUY F.C. booed when Pincha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Garaile didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tom Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agustin Silvino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcial Roldanillo in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodosio Iigo saved AZURDUY F.C. from getting behind. Pincha FC were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after AZURDUY F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victorio Hondo took the corner. Jorge Carrascal made a great header on Pincha FC's corner, it was just that AZURDUY F.C.'s Teodosio Iigo managed to reach the ball for a save. Tom Hermansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Quentin having to make a save. Carlos Quentin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 25th minute, one of AZURDUY F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AZURDUY F.C.. In the 26th minute, Agustin Silvino made a precise shot to the right of Teodosio Iigo. AZURDUY F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Teodosio Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Roldanillo in the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Tom Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Quentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodosio Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Roldanillo in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Teodosio Iigo was a little too slow when Agustin Silvino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-2. 58 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Roldanillo came free, but Teodosio Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 minutes, Niclas Füllkrug mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AZURDUY F.C. and the Pincha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, AZURDUY F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niclas Füllkrug to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Silvino in the 70th minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodosio Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Teodosio Iigo managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Pincha FC's Marcial Roldanillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 72 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Silvino came free, but Teodosio Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustin Silvino did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Teodosio Iigo 72 minutes into the match. Pincha FC's German Merexildo was substituted for Victorio Hondo. 90 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodosio Iigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcial Roldanillo. AZURDUY F.C.'s Teodosio Iigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save AZURDUY F.C. from getting a goal against them. If German Merexildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
