The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şahin Zeyyat in the 9th minute of play forced Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Thomás Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 10th minute Daniel Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kılıç Uğural saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Şahin Zeyyat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomás Toscano. Capibaribe Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Şahin Zeyyat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Capibaribe Stars's Atalay Turkay managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kutlu Hisarcık in the 15 minute of the game. 16 minutes into the game, Kutlu Hisarcık was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Öz Bern SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capibaribe Stars the free kick. Kutlu Hisarcık kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 17th minute of the game was made by Alexsandro de Carvalho with Semail Gökdoğan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Nike 武磊's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kılıç Uğural firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Capibaribe Stars's Nike 武磊 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kılıç Uğural. That made the score 2-1 after 22 minutes of play. Daniel Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Öz Bern SK's Kılıç Uğural played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Sousa in the 26th minute of play. Thomás Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şahin Zeyyat in the 27th minute of the match. 33 minutes in the game Kutlu Hisarcık did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cristiano Ramundo. Lothar Matthäus kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Daniel Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kılıç Uğural saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute of the match Capibaribe Stars got a corner. Öz Bern SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Atalay Turkay ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Capibaribe Stars's Atalay Turkay to fire away a dangerous shot which Kılıç Uğural despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kılıç Uğural made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Sousa in the 45th minute. Capibaribe Stars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Atalay Turkay in the 48th minute. A nice corner shot did that Atalay Turkay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kılıç Uğural quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Şahin Zeyyat made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's Daniel Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kılıç Uğural narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Sousa in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kılıç Uğural prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Capibaribe Stars's Thomás Toscano got control of the ball when Şahin Zeyyat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Capibaribe Stars made a substitution. Hicham Al Azka replaced Daşdämir Albändiyev. Capibaribe Stars's Flóki Factor was substituted for Daniel Sousa. Doğuş Vecihi hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The Capibaribe Stars fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Capibaribe Stars's Flóki Factor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thomás Toscano made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Şahin Zeyyat sent off a good shot on target. Öz Bern SK's Kutlu Hisarcık got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Kutlu Hisarcık off the ground. After a rather tough play, Öz Bern SK's Kutlu Hisarcık got a free kick in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flóki Factor in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kılıç Uğural saved Öz Bern SK from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, Flóki Factor notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Öz Bern SK's Kılıç Uğural. Kılıç Uğural was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute Flóki Factor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kılıç Uğural saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's Flóki Factor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kılıç Uğural narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Flóki Factor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capibaribe Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. A collision led to Öz Bern SK getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Şahin Zeyyat hit a great ball. Flóki Factor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Capibaribe Stars booed when Öz Bern SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şahin Zeyyat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute Flóki Factor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kılıç Uğural saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hicham Al Azka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kılıç Uğural having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Capibaribe Stars had won after a very even match.
