Carlitos Parodi was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Sven-Olof Vestlund capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sven-Olof Vestlund really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Theobald in the 44th minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Joar Scheie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Ted was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, CAN ERZURUM got a penalty, and Sven-Olof Vestlund placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 55thth minute of the game Sven-Olof Vestlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Acratas Unidos's Carlitos Parodi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Sven-Olof Vestlund came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the CAN ERZURUM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Olof Vestlund couldn't finish the play. Carlitos Parodi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Olof Vestlund's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. CAN ERZURUM's Seyhun Orus got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CAN ERZURUM's Arda Turan was substituted for Birkan Kayra. Sven-Olof Vestlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlitos Parodi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Olof Vestlund ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlitos Parodi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. CAN ERZURUM's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
