The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the game, Bruno Chus threw the ball into play from the sideline. LavAzzA's Amerigo Labarra quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Tartales in the 10th minute of play forced LavAzzA's goalkeeper Iwan Lepucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaudencio Lekubegi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, ............'s Czeslaw Jerzyk got a free kick in the 14th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Sean Hock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ............'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sean Hock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roman Masharov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Vase in the 20th minute of play. LavAzzA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amerigo Labarra in the 21st minute. The corner ended in Amerigo Labarra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ............'s Roman Masharov did a great save. Freddy Tartales struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Iwan Lepucki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ............. In the 25th minute Sean Hock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Lepucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amerigo Labarra hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Iwan Lepucki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Tartales in the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, LavAzzA's Xavier von Felten got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 30 played minutes ............ got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Arne Stenman. In the 36th minute, ............'s Freddy Tartales dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Sean Hock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Iwan Lepucki made a huge save. After 44 played minutes ............ got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Arne Stenman. In the 45th match minute, ............ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sean Hock to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gaudencio Lekubegi made the kick off in the second half. ............'s Roman Masharov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 62nd minute of play. In the 69th minute Freddy Tartales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Lepucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, LavAzzA's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Tartales came free, but Iwan Lepucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amerigo Labarra struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Roman Masharov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LavAzzA. LavAzzA's Mai Di Chao was substituted for Adam Vase. Mai Di Chao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Masharov having to interfere. Iwan Lepucki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Tartales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute of the match ............ got a corner. LavAzzA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stig-Arne Stenman ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to ............'s Sean Hock getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, ............'s Xose Herran got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the game, LavAzzA's Marcus Skytt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roman Masharov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
