In the 13th minute Fabio Mancinelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Povară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iacob Povară took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Servando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atay Türegün stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gheorghe Bociort's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Iacob Povară showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Servando, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. MegaFenerbahce's Atay Türegün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisc Ciocoiu in the 23rd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Luca Pancu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Atay Türegün quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 26th minute Fabio Mancinelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Povară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisc Ciocoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atay Türegün didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gheorghe Bociort went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 35 played minutes F.C CLUJ MEDICINA got a freekick which was hit by Francisc Ciocoiu. With an all-out effort, MegaFenerbahce's Iacob Povară threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marco Servando, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Atay Türegün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sorin Cupșa in the 40th minute of play. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Servando in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Francisc Ciocoiu got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Kristian Markham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gu Yi Yuan to make the kick off. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA were furious when Paul Bogătan was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 55 minutes into the game, one of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for MegaFenerbahce. Fabio Mancinelli stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Iacob Povară. 2-1. Luca Pancu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, MegaFenerbahce's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Pancu came free, but Atay Türegün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atay Türegün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Bociort in the 66th minute of play. Atay Türegün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Pancu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 minutes of play, MegaFenerbahce's Gu Yi Yuan made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iacob Povară was left in no man's land by his defense there! F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gu Yi Yuan in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Gu Yi Yuan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Iacob Povară was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 92 minutes into the match, Fabio Mancinelli notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară. Iacob Povară was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 98 minutes into the game, Luca Pancu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Atay Türegün. Luca Pancu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the F.C CLUJ MEDICINA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MegaFenerbahce.
