SCs StarS's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Rivera in the 12th minute of play. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Rivera in the 14th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Lithuanian amber got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Rivera. Saulius Mikalajūnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petr Čech made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Martin Budín sent off a good shot on target. Damazy Mitus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lithuanian amber's goalkeeper Damazy Mitus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Jordy Dirks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damazy Mitus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a little luck, SCs StarS's Petr Čech got control of the ball when Martin Budín tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on SCs StarS's corner Thiago Gol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Damazy Mitus quite easily take care of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Damazy Mitus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thiago Gol in the 55th minute. Petr Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saulius Mikalajūnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by SCs StarS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jeremias Castulo was slow to take the kick. During this time Lithuanian amber's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Lithuanian amber's Jeremias Castulo to fire away a dangerous shot which Petr Čech despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Budín, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saulius Mikalajūnas hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Lithuanian amber's Ignas Beresnevičius was substituted for Vaidas Ragėnas. Saulius Mikalajūnas kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Damazy Mitus made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Florian Hekman sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Martin Budín in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SCs StarS's Matthijs Ebbinge. In the 70thth minute of the game Martin Budín who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SCs StarS's Petr Čech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lithuanian amber were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after SCs StarS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sanson Villasinda took the corner. 74 minutes into the game, Lithuanian amber's Martin Budín nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petr Čech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 77th minute, Jordy Dirks made a precise shot to the right of Damazy Mitus. Lithuanian amber's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. With a little luck, Lithuanian amber's Damazy Mitus got control of the ball when Jordy Dirks tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petr Čech came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lithuanian amber's Martin Budín. But to his dismay, Martin Budín quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Vidmantas Ubartas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lithuanian amber's supporters rose to their feet, but Vidmantas Ubartas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petr Čech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Rivera came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damazy Mitus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Gol in the 91st minute of play. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vidmantas Ubartas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 96 minutes, Jordy Dirks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SCs StarS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jordy Dirks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SCs StarS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
