The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mihnea Ionițoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Soriano Espiñeira made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Navalito's goal looked a bit too open when Timo Thorstein came free, but Soriano Espiñeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olimpiu Hârlău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Young, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute of the match Navalito got a corner. Carpathian Wolves's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Gustavo Caicedo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eros Villamayor in the 22nd minute of play. Olimpiu Hârlău stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eros Villamayor's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Soriano Espiñeira was a little too slow when Mihnea Ionițoiu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Mihnea Ionițoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Soriano Espiñeira made a huge save. Olimpiu Hârlău stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Young's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Gustavo Caicedo in the 29th minute of play forced Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper Olimpiu Hârlău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Esquerra came free, but Olimpiu Hârlău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Clemente Esquerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Hârlău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihnea Ionițoiu in the 42nd minute of play forced Navalito's goalkeeper Soriano Espiñeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Isidoro Young ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olimpiu Hârlău was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isidoro Young to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Navalito's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Panaiteanu came free, but Soriano Espiñeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Young was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mihnea Ionițoiu scored 2-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Soriano Espiñeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău got control of the ball when Clemente Esquerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olimpiu Hârlău made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Esquerra in the 68th minute. Navalito's Paulo Pinhal was substituted for Carlos Gustavo Caicedo. Nicanor Parra made a great header on Navalito's corner, it was just that Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău managed to reach the ball for a save. Isidoro Young could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Olimpiu Hârlău made a huge save. Navalito's Soriano Espiñeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Panaiteanu in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Paulo Pinhal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Navalito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. 83 minutes into the match, Navalito's goal looked a bit too open when Timo Thorstein came free, but Soriano Espiñeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Parra came free, but Olimpiu Hârlău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Isidoro Young who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Isidoro Young put it in 2-5 from a short distance just to the right of Olimpiu Hârlău. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihnea Ionițoiu in the 90th minute of play forced Navalito's goalkeeper Soriano Espiñeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Olimpiu Hârlău successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Navalito's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
