An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofil Gierlach in the 4th minute of play forced DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper Benigno Feo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Crosmayo FC were awarded a corner. Teofil Gierlach went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Crosmayo FC's Teofil Gierlach to fire away a dangerous shot which Benigno Feo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Benigno Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Gierlach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Benigno Feo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Gierlach in the 12th minute of play. Erik Huang charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Huang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erik Huang kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Gaston Atauri kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Teofil Gierlach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Crosmayo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joey Tribbiani was slow to take the kick. During this time DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's players had a chance to rest. Benigno Feo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Gierlach in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO booed when Crosmayo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Bastiaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerazan Pujana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Teofil Gierlach made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Domingo Hartz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benigno Feo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joey Tribbiani in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alonzo Cordarin saved Crosmayo FC from getting behind. In the 63rd minute Gerazan Pujana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Cordarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Feo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofil Gierlach's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Crosmayo FC's Michail Antonio was substituted for Domingo Hartz. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Garth Burrell was substituted for Joey Tribbiani. Domingo Hartz hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Despite this Alonzo Cordarin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ernesto Bastiaro kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute of the match, Michail Antonio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benigno Feo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 90th minute, Gerazan Pujana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Erik Huang made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kazimierz Traczewski immediately put the ball in play.
