An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoriy Agapov in the 4th minute of play forced Kjønstad BF's goalkeeper Jarle Volden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute Toma Lechev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Sengrat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Sengrat acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 7th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pedro Luís Peixoto. Roman Bolshakov's late challenge caught a Kjønstad BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Bolshakov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, STORM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Bolshakov to maneuver through the defense. STORM's Antonio Sengrat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save STORM from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, STORM's Antonio Sengrat got control of the ball when Toma Lechev tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Gaarder in the 16th minute of play forced STORM's goalkeeper Antonio Sengrat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Grigoriy Agapov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarle Volden was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Americo Panfilo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Jarle Volden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrey Sokolenko in the 37th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Toma Lechev took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Antonio Sengrat to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toma Lechev got free with Antonio Sengrat in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toma Lechev during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thor Gaarder to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 59 minutes, Josef Vrobel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kjønstad BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josef Vrobel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 61 played minutes STORM got a freekick which was hit by Grigoriy Agapov. After having played for 73 minutes, Toma Lechev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kjønstad BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toma Lechev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Josef Vrobel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Antonio Sengrat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's goal looked a bit too open when Stepan Holodovskiy came free, but Jarle Volden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarle Volden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stepan Holodovskiy in the 80th minute of the match. When Toma Lechev came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Kjønstad BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toma Lechev couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd match minute, Kjønstad BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jørund Leira to maneuver through the defense. Jarle Volden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stepan Holodovskiy's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute STORM were awarded a corner. Andrey Sokolenko went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Gaarder in the 95th minute of play forced STORM's goalkeeper Antonio Sengrat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thor Gaarder in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Sengrat saved STORM from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the STORM players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kjønstad BF.
