Chu Yuan Jian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toma Lechev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toma Lechev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Chu Yuan Jian made a huge save. Chu Yuan Jian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thor Gaarder in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the Atletico Roma defense, Toma Lechev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chu Yuan Jian. The Atletico Roma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chu Yuan Jian should have stopped the shot. Atletico Roma's Chu Yuan Jian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Roma from getting a goal against them. Toma Lechev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chu Yuan Jian having to make a save. Toma Lechev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Chu Yuan Jian made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toma Lechev got free with Chu Yuan Jian in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Emanuele Bolognini in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kjønstad BF's Tamer Aksel. If Toma Lechev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

55 minutes into the game, Kjønstad BF's Toma Lechev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chu Yuan Jian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Tamer Aksel kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Thor Gaarder struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Chu Yuan Jian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kjønstad BF. Atletico Roma made a substitution. Gendo Matulessy replaced Nasser Al Ghanem. Chu Yuan Jian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toma Lechev in the 66th minute of play. Toma Lechev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chu Yuan Jian having to make a save. Chu Yuan Jian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toma Lechev in the 68th minute of the match. Chu Yuan Jian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toma Lechev in the 71st minute of play. Kjønstad BF's Tamer Aksel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emanuele Bolognini, made in the 73rd minute of the game. If Toma Lechev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chu Yuan Jian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toma Lechev, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Atletico Roma's Emanuele Bolognini got a free kick in the 79th minute. A collision led to Atletico Roma getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Emanuele Bolognini hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's Thor Gaarder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chu Yuan Jian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kjønstad BF's attentive Abelardo Odon managed to snatch the ball when Emanuele Bolognini made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. Jarle Volden came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Roma's Jhonnatan Carranza. But to his dismay, Jhonnatan Carranza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Chu Yuan Jian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toma Lechev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Toma Lechev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chu Yuan Jian was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atletico Roma players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kjønstad BF.
