In the 16thth minute of the game Luciano Acosta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Tiaguinho da Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Luciano Acosta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Paraíba in the 26th minute of play forced Project Nemesis's goalkeeper Peter Parker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano Acosta during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Xapetuba Futebol Clube booed when Project Nemesis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Acosta in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiaguinho da Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Project Nemesis's Peter Parker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Soares in the 62nd minute of play. Project Nemesis's Filip Drugi was substituted for A.J. Beardsley. Project Nemesis made a substitution. Jakub Kiwior replaced Padro Trúpkov.
