Luizinho Paranaense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mümtaz Teren's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Atlético Bucaramanga's goal looked a bit too open when Mümtaz Teren came free, but Luizinho Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mümtaz Teren in the 24th minute of play forced Atlético Bucaramanga's goalkeeper Luizinho Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tristan Franquis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xacintu Ribeiro in the 26th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Atlético Bucaramanga's corner Jerson Gonzales fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tristan Franquis quite easily take care of the ball. Alberino Vieitez kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Atlético Bucaramanga's Luizinho Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mümtaz Teren in the 29th minute of play. Tristan Franquis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xacintu Ribeiro in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Xacintu Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Franquis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes Imperio Catatumbo de Lara got a freekick which was hit by Adrio Sobrido. Luizinho Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mümtaz Teren in the 45th minute of play. Tristan Franquis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xacintu Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xacintu Ribeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atlético Bucaramanga! Luizinho Paranaense had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Fernan Erus's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Imperio Catatumbo de Lara getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Adrio Sobrido hit a great ball. Atlético Bucaramanga made a substitution. Hernando Harroyo replaced Xacintu Ribeiro. Adrio Sobrido kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Tristan Franquis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerson Gonzales in the 64th minute of play. Eric Eftimescu hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara made a substitution. Dráuzio Sergipano replaced Braulio Castulo. After 66 played minutes Atlético Bucaramanga got a freekick which was hit by Eric Eftimescu. With a little luck, Atlético Bucaramanga's Luizinho Paranaense got control of the ball when Dráuzio Sergipano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute Imperio Catatumbo de Lara were awarded a corner. Fernan Erus went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Fernan Erus to fire away a dangerous shot which Luizinho Paranaense despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Bruno Moneda in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Bruno Moneda got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
