In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Azulgranas AFC's goalkeeper Leo Henric, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Axel Ree's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Henric was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. 6 minutes into the game, Axel Ree cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Azulgranas AFC's Leo Henric played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Ree in the 19th minute of play. Michaël Myers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Bøje Dyssen made a huge save. Bøje Dyssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michaël Myers, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Azulgranas AFC were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Monks in Robes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Radomir Naskrent took the corner. Azulgranas AFC's Radomir Naskrent was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bøje Dyssen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 35 minutes into the match, Azulgranas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Ree came free, but Leo Henric reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monks in Robes's Axel Ree got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Axel Ree managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monks in Robes's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Ree was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Henric breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Manuel Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Bøje Dyssen made a huge save. Azulgranas AFC were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Monks in Robes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Radomir Naskrent took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Mateo Transito got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bøje Dyssen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 46 played minutes Monks in Robes got a freekick which was hit by Albinus Alking. After the first half Monks in Robes were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Juan Manuel Cruz made the kick off in the second half. Bøje Dyssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomir Naskrent, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 57th minute of the match Monks in Robes got a corner. Azulgranas AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fidel Havier ran over to the corner to take the kick. Albinus Alking made a great header on Monks in Robes's corner, it was just that Azulgranas AFC's Leo Henric managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Transito in the 59th minute of play forced Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Bøje Dyssen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michaël Myers in the 84th minute of play forced Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Bøje Dyssen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Ree in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Henric saved Azulgranas AFC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Axel Ree managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monks in Robes's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Ree was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Henric breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bøje Dyssen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Transito in the 91st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Michaël Myers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azulgranas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Michaël Myers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bøje Dyssen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96 minutes of play, Azulgranas AFC's Michaël Myers made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bøje Dyssen was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Azulgranas AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Monks in Robes's performance. The match ended with a win for Monks in Robes.
