In the 9th minute Carolo Camaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 minutes ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hugo Boss who took care of the corner kick. ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Carlos Baptista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ from getting a goal against them. Ersen Bumba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximino Ticho having to make a save. Maximino Ticho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ersen Bumba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ersen Bumba managed to get in a good position for a shot. ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ersen Bumba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Ticho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from Erman Kayıhan in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ugonotti's Hugo Boss. Carlos Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Camaño in the 24th minute of play. After 25 played minutes Ugonotti got a freekick which was hit by Martinho Saraiva. Carlos Baptista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinícius Juniors in the 27th minute. Ersen Bumba might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximino Ticho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ersen Bumba ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ugonotti's goalkeeper Maximino Ticho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Ersen Bumba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Maximino Ticho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Ugonotti booed when ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ersen Bumba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinícius Juniors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ugonotti's Yu Wei Bo was substituted for Jerzy Zjawin. Ugonotti's Emanuele Cicchinelli was substituted for Rabelani Thebile. The wind increased when Ersen Bumba made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yu Wei Bo in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Baptista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Helmuth Follmann was substituted for Aras Uçkan. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Martinho Saraiva with Emanuele Cicchinelli as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Maximino Ticho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ersen Bumba, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 73 played minutes ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ got a freekick which was hit by Erlin Haaland. 76 minutes into the match, Yu Wei Bo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Carlos Baptista. Carlos Baptista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute Vinícius Juniors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximino Ticho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ersen Bumba in the 87th minute of play. Carlos Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Wei Bo in the 88th minute of the match.
