Altay Dağdelen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Traian Blăniță in the 74th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Orlando Beltza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Altay Dağdelen. Dragones Celestes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Beltza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Trasatti in the 81st minute of play forced Dragones Celestes's goalkeeper Altay Dağdelen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Concetto Trasatti took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Altay Dağdelen. Altay Dağdelen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Estudiantes de América's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
