After 4 minutes IzmirFK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Szymon Pilitowski who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Kraig Fred managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gottfrid Allbom in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, IzmirFK's goal looked a bit too open when Kraig Fred came free, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. IzmirFK's Zydrunas Karcemarskas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save IzmirFK from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute of the match Estudiantes de América got a corner. IzmirFK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Szymon Pilitowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kraig Fred could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas made a huge save. After a rather tough play, IzmirFK's Per-Erik Josefsson got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Kraig Fred dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zydrunas Karcemarskas, 1-0. Marcos Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gottfrid Allbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kraig Fred in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zydrunas Karcemarskas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Estudiantes de América made a substitution. Orlando Beltza replaced Fran Tudor. In the 42nd minute, Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zydrunas Karcemarskas. Zydrunas Karcemarskas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Zydrunas Karcemarskas made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Kraig Fred sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Vollander made a kick off. Zydrunas Karcemarskas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kraig Fred's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Kraig Fred sped through IzmirFK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zydrunas Karcemarskas. 59 minutes into the match, IzmirFK's goal looked a bit too open when Kraig Fred came free, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Kraig Fred's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 65 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gottfrid Allbom. 69 minutes into the match, IzmirFK's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Ruisko came free, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes, Kraig Fred made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. IzmirFK's Zydrunas Karcemarskas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 76 minutes, Gottfrid Allbom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IzmirFK and the Estudiantes de América players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zydrunas Karcemarskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kraig Fred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zydrunas Karcemarskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kraig Fred in the 78th minute of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Kraig Fred who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IzmirFK's Zydrunas Karcemarskas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IzmirFK's goalie prevented a goal. Zydrunas Karcemarskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Blăniță, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Zydrunas Karcemarskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kraig Fred in the 86th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zydrunas Karcemarskas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Kraig Fred's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. In the 96th minute, Kraig Fred ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zydrunas Karcemarskas was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Estudiantes de América's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
