Ludwig Wassenius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Hubert Kostka made a huge save. Dariusz Wos had several of the SuRpRiSe's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Hubert Kostka as he didn't even see the shot coming. Dariusz Wos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hubert Kostka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, SuRpRiSe's goalkeeper Hubert Kostka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ludwig Wassenius. Hubert Kostka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Wos in the 15th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santa Jøker couldn't finish the play. Amerigo Ianni made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ludwig Wassenius however managed to control. SuRpRiSe's Konstanty Kensicki quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Demy Vennegoor, made in the 29th minute of the game. A.C. Patagonia's Peter Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santa Jøker in the 38th minute of play. If Ludwig Wassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hubert Kostka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Cebula, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Aldo Di Carlo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hubert Kostka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Aldo Di Carlo took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hubert Kostka. Hubert Kostka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Hubert Kostka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Di Carlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
