When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Nilson Leite sped through Magallanes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ksawery Witkowski. A collision led to Magallanes getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rito Encina hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Nilson Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksawery Witkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Gervaso came free, but Ksawery Witkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Magallanes were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Juventus EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Seran Turres took the corner. Magallanes's Seran Turres was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bilbo Arzube in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 26 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Nilson Leite came free, but Ksawery Witkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Magallanes defense, Nilson Leite kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ksawery Witkowski. The Magallanes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ksawery Witkowski should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Gervaso came free, but Ksawery Witkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Juventus EC's Walmyr Loyola was substituted for Rosendo Gervaso. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Mondaca to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Juventus EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséias Pontes to maneuver through the defense. Walmyr Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ksawery Witkowski having to interfere. If Anacleto Dessauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magallanes's Kadim Sebil was substituted for Juan Mondaca. Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmyr Loyola in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Magallanes's Kadim Sebil got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 80 minutes of play, Magallanes's Kadim Sebil made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bilbo Arzube was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute Walmyr Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksawery Witkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kadim Sebil in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bilbo Arzube saved Juventus EC from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, Magallanes's Kadim Sebil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bilbo Arzube narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bilbo Arzube showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Dessauer in the 89th minute of the match. Bilbo Arzube took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kadim Sebil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kadim Sebil in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bilbo Arzube saved Juventus EC from getting behind. The Juventus EC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
