Walter Fransson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Sitko in the 7th minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Walter Fransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leszek Falke in the 9th minute of play. Walter Fransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Sitko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Cyprian Sitko notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Fire Devils's Walter Fransson. Walter Fransson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zielonka Gdansk's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Loris Hellmüller was slow to take the kick. During this time Fire Devils's players had a chance to rest. Fire Devils's Andy Vincent was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jan Tomaszewski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Walter Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leszek Falke in the 19th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Leszek Falke made a precise shot to the right of Walter Fransson. Fire Devils's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leszek Falke in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Fransson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute Andreas Furcas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Tomaszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zielonka Gdansk's Qiu Ling Lang in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fire Devils's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Sitko in the 36th minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Walter Fransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Romero Zeier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Qiu Ling Lang scored 0-4 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walter Fransson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Sitko in the 43rd minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Walter Fransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Leszek Falke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fire Devils getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Loris Hellmüller hit a great ball. Jan Tomaszewski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Goliath Perna went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the last second Walter Fransson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cyprian Sitko in the 53rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Jarūnas Saponka struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Walter Fransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zielonka Gdansk. Walter Fransson came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Zielonka Gdansk's Gottfrid Asklöv. But to his dismay, Gottfrid Asklöv quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In the 65th match minute, Fire Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loris Hellmüller to maneuver through the defense. Qiu Ling Lang was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Zielonka Gdansk's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fire Devils's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Cyprian Sitko scored to the left of an out of position Walter Fransson, making the score, 1-6. After a rather tough play, Zielonka Gdansk's Ganga Banga got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyprian Sitko got free with Walter Fransson in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Walter Fransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qiu Ling Lang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Walter Fransson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qiu Ling Lang in the 80th minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Walter Fransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Goliath Perna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fire Devils's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zielonka Gdansk the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fire Devils's Goliath Perna got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Zielonka Gdansk made a substitution. Kryspin Puchlik replaced Wasyl Lewicki. Thanks to some nice moves Leszek Falke could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Walter Fransson however easily saved by the left post. In the 89th minute, Cyprian Sitko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Walter Fransson. The goal made the score 1-7. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Qiu Ling Lang in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Fransson saved Fire Devils from getting behind. Ganga Banga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Walter Fransson made a huge save. 97 minutes into the match, Leszek Falke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walter Fransson. Fire Devils's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leszek Falke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Zielonka Gdansk walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
