Ermegildo Matxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36thth minute of the game Virgilio Ariando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fire Devils's Walter Fransson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Venancio Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Fire Devils fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Fire Devils's Andreas Furcas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 45 minutes into the game, Fire Devils's Andreas Furcas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermegildo Matxin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Andreas Furcas made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, BAC Belgrano de Cba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Ariando to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Fire Devils getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Nikita Bolla hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Santos in the 53rd minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Walter Fransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Goliath Perna hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Ariando in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Fransson saved Fire Devils from getting behind. Goliath Perna struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ermegildo Matxin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fire Devils. Placido Neron blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walter Fransson having to make a save. 65 minutes into the match, Placido Neron notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Fire Devils's Walter Fransson. Walter Fransson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Fire Devils's Nikita Bolla got a free kick in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Ariando in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Fransson saved Fire Devils from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ildefonso Isaio during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ildefonso Isaio kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ildefonso Isaio hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Venancio Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Furcas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Ermegildo Matxin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of BAC Belgrano de Cba booed when Fire Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Goliath Perna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virgilio Ariando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fire Devils had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
