I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Valio Tammisto came free, but Alirio Ducoing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Lluques in the 7th minute of play forced Westenenk's goalkeeper Jaap van der Schans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaap van der Schans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Lluques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wieslaw Posadzki came free, but Alirio Ducoing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Q. T. I.'s Alirio Ducoing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberth Gosmann in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Q. T. I. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Leopoldo Vermudo hit a great ball. When Q. T. I.'s Anibal Lluques in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Westenenk's goalie prevented a goal. Alirio Ducoing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peder Nyqvist in the 31st minute of the match. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Alirio Ducoing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 39 played minutes Westenenk got a freekick which was hit by Joop Koopmans. When Julian Raymundo came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Q. T. I. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Raymundo couldn't finish the play. After 41 minutes of play, Westenenk's Wieslaw Posadzki made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alirio Ducoing was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the match, Westenenk's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Lluques came free, but Jaap van der Schans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wieslaw Posadzki came free, but Alirio Ducoing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Raymundo to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Raymundo in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaap van der Schans saved Westenenk from getting behind. Jaap van der Schans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Lluques in the 53rd minute of the match. Jaap van der Schans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Lluques, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Anibal Lluques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 62nd minute Wieslaw Posadzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alirio Ducoing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Q. T. I. booed when Westenenk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Lauaxeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Q. T. I.'s Faustino Txerran was substituted for Carlos Sergi. After 64 played minutes Westenenk got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Lauaxeta. Jaap van der Schans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Henrico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Q. T. I. were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Westenenk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lisandro Abeita took the corner. Alberth Gosmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Alirio Ducoing made a huge save. Jaap van der Schans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Lluques in the 80th minute of the match. Horacio Dolfo's late challenge caught a Westenenk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horacio Dolfo helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Q. T. I. got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Dolfo. Q. T. I.'s Alirio Ducoing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Q. T. I. from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Anibal Lluques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Q. T. I. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anibal Lluques in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaap van der Schans saved Westenenk from getting behind. Westenenk's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
