Lionel Paly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Svensson in the 7th minute of play. Real Södertälje's Jack Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pirmin Jäggi in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Svensson came free, but Lionel Paly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jack Glanselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pirmin Jäggi, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Real Södertälje's goal looked a bit too open when Ezio Gøl came free, but Jack Glanselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Markus Svensson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jack Glanselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pirmin Jäggi in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Pirmin Jäggi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Svensson in the 25th minute of play forced FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Real Södertälje's corner Reynaldo Cerezo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lionel Paly quite easily take care of the ball. Jack Glanselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emery Heller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Markus Svensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lionel Paly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Svensson in the 32nd minute of the match. Markus Svensson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lionel Paly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emery Heller in the 38th minute of play forced Real Södertälje's goalkeeper Jack Glanselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Markus Svensson might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lionel Paly. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Markus Svensson ran back to his position shaking his head. Lionel Paly stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Markus Svensson's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the game, Pirmin Jäggi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jack Glanselius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Real Södertälje made a substitution. Rikard Wolff replaced Ludomil Kluska. Real Södertälje's Birger Hedberg was substituted for Urki Regalado. Real Södertälje made a substitution. James Batistuta replaced Markus Svensson. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Birger Hedberg made a kick off. The supporters of FC Wil 1900 booed when Real Södertälje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yu Feng Ning didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lionel Paly was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emery Heller went to the cornerflag to take it. Alex Leisibach made a great header on FC Wil 1900's corner, it was just that Real Södertälje's Jack Glanselius managed to reach the ball for a save. Sobah Rico kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Reynaldo Cerezo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Lionel Paly didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Södertälje. Alex Leisibach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Jack Glanselius made a huge save. FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Hedberg in the 97th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Real Södertälje had won after a very even match.
