Sebastián Sosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, El Stradivarius's Igor Jarmulowicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastián Sosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Inter Sibiu's Sebastián Sosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save FC Inter Sibiu from getting a goal against them. Igor Jarmulowicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastián Sosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Frank Melis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Galus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Eusebiu Tuleiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Galus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Inter Sibiu's Sebastián Sosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save FC Inter Sibiu from getting a goal against them. Sebastián Sosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Jarmulowicz in the 31st minute. Igor Jarmulowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Sebastián Sosa made a huge save. Sebastián Sosa was a little too slow when Igor Jarmulowicz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-0. Jedrzej Galus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Melis in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Melis was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Bernardino Vigil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, El Stradivarius's Gabriel Pello got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Frank Melis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Galus having to interfere. Jedrzej Galus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Costandache in the 67th minute of play. FC Inter Sibiu's Sebastián Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Jarmulowicz in the 69th minute of play. If Eusebiu Tuleiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Stradivarius made a substitution. Fernandinho Furtado replaced Angelo Goren. El Stradivarius's Emilio Rami was substituted for Igor Jarmulowicz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frances Mangas during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Frances Mangas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernandinho Furtado in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Sebastián Sosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Rami in the 83rd minute of the match. Emilio Rami blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastián Sosa having to make a save. Sebastián Sosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Rami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Stradivarius's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Igon Ferrero in the 98th minute. After taking down the ball on El Stradivarius's corner Igon Ferrero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sebastián Sosa quite easily take care of the ball. El Stradivarius were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Inter Sibiu for a fine match.
