Virgilio Sotil came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx. But to his dismay, William Westelinx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rene Vereijt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Mateo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre's goal looked a bit too open when William Westelinx came free, but Virgilio Sotil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute of the game Honorio Delfino made a throw-in which Ramiro Jerano played forward. The audience was convinced that William Westelinx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgilio Sotil was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Virgilio Sotil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamza Yavaş in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute William Westelinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Sotil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Mateo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Ouagadougou National getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. William Westelinx hit a great ball. William Westelinx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Sotil having to interfere. After some careless play in the Villa Mitre defense, William Westelinx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Sotil. The Villa Mitre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Sotil should have stopped the shot. Virgilio Sotil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William Westelinx's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, FC Ouagadougou National's Hamza Yavaş got a free kick in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Villa Mitre's Honorio Delfino got a free kick in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the game, FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgilio Sotil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Virgilio Sotil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paolo Evis went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorio Delfino during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Villa Mitre getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Honorio Delfino hit a great ball. William Westelinx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

54 minutes into the match, William Westelinx had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgilio Sotil. Villa Mitre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Westelinx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. William Westelinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Virgilio Sotil made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Westelinx in the 63rd minute. FC Ouagadougou National were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Villa Mitre's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Riemer Ax took the corner. The corner led to FC Ouagadougou National's Paolo Evis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ramiro Jerano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgilio Sotil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Westelinx in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, William Westelinx notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil. Virgilio Sotil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villa Mitre's goalie prevented a goal. William Westelinx might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Sotil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. William Westelinx ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Villa Mitre's Aaron Guifre got a free kick in the 87th minute. Virgilio Sotil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jedrzej Kiszkiel in the 100th minute of play. FC Ouagadougou National's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
