After 46 minutes of play, AC Collins's Pekko Rino made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Qiu Chuan Ran was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Constantin Guittonneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Faria in the 51st minute of play. Qiu Chuan Ran made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Pekko Rino sent off a good shot on target. Qiu Chuan Ran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mel Önen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Qiu Chuan Ran was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Pekko Rino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pekko Rino really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 61st minute Rodolfo Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Guittonneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Collins's Slawomir Soszka was substituted for Karol Charlos. AC Collins made a substitution. Eurico Viana replaced Pekko Rino. With a little luck, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran got control of the ball when Eurico Viana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alessio Furino went to the cornerflag to take it. Qiu Chuan Ran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The audience was convinced that Eurico Viana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Qiu Chuan Ran was relentless in the 86th minute of the game.
