Tomás Bonifaco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Marquez in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Raggio saved Belgrano de Pibasog from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Sjöberg in the 14th minute of play forced Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Bernardo Raggio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Marquez in the 17th minute of play. Sven-Olof Sjöberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Bernardo Raggio made a huge save. Tomás Bonifaco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Judas Verón in the 22nd minute of play. Bernardo Raggio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart Pellen, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute of the game Anak Agung Agafonnikov made a throw-in which Gregorio Elixio played forward. After 32 minutes Belgrano de Pibasog's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marciano Lekubegi who took care of the corner kick. Tomás Bonifaco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Jerrold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Olof Sjöberg in the 39th minute of play. When Justino Frederico fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belgrano de Pibasog's protests and gave Justino Frederico a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Belgrano de Pibasog getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Justino Frederico hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes, Candelaria FC's Anak Agung Agafonnikov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bernardo Raggio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Candelaria FC reached it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st match minute, Belgrano de Pibasog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pawel Grabowicz to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Raggio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Sjöberg in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Pawel Grabowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pawel Grabowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Bonifaco having to interfere. Tomás Bonifaco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Judas Verón in the 62nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bart Pellen in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Raggio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Judas Verón might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Bonifaco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Judas Verón ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Pellen in the 69th minute of play forced Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Bernardo Raggio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Judas Verón in the 70th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Tomás Bonifaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belgrano de Pibasog made a substitution. Iulian Ilinca replaced Judas Verón. In the 77th minute Antonio Alzamendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Candelaria FC's Anak Agung Agafonnikov got a free kick in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iulian Ilinca in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Bonifaco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th match minute, Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Gómez to maneuver through the defense. Pawel Grabowicz struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Tomás Bonifaco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano de Pibasog. After having played for 90 minutes, Iulian Ilinca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iulian Ilinca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Candelaria FC's Tomás Bonifaco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Candelaria FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Candelaria FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Marciano Lekubegi hit a great ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Belgrano de Pibasog were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Candelaria FC side.
