Daniel Grønningsæter came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón. But to his dismay, Judas Verón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Pladask's goalie prevented a goal. In the 10th minute of the match Belgrano de Pibasog got a corner. FC Pladask's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pawel Grabowicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bernardo Raggio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomáš Kolek in the 12th minute of the match. FC Pladask's Daniel Grønningsæter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Judas Verón in the 15th minute of play. Judas Verón took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Grønningsæter. Daniel Grønningsæter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Belgrano de Pibasog fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Judas Verón in the 26th minute of play forced FC Pladask's goalkeeper Daniel Grønningsæter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Grønningsæter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Belgrano de Pibasog's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pawel Grabowicz in the 31st minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Pladask's goalie and right to Eustaquio Fortun. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Pladask's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Trond Soltveit got free with Bernardo Raggio in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute of the match FC Pladask got a corner. Belgrano de Pibasog's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kjetil-André Grønseth ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 38thth minute of the game Judas Verón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Pladask's Daniel Grønningsæter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Grønningsæter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Judas Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trond Soltveit could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Bernardo Raggio made a huge save. In the 46th minute Judas Verón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Grønningsæter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
The wind increased when James Feldthaus made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Justino Frederico got a free kick in the 57th minute. Belgrano de Pibasog made a substitution. Melquiades Henrico replaced Justino Frederico. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Feldthaus in the 59th minute of play forced Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Bernardo Raggio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Melquiades Henrico put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Belgrano de Pibasog:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Pladask:s goal. 65 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goal looked a bit too open when James Feldthaus came free, but Bernardo Raggio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Pladask's Daniel Grønningsæter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save FC Pladask from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Adamczak in the 70th minute of play forced Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Bernardo Raggio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Judas Verón managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters rose to their feet, but Judas Verón was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Grønningsæter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Belgrano de Pibasog's Iulian Ilinca was substituted for Judas Verón. Daniel Grønningsæter made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Iulian Ilinca sent off a good shot on target. Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Feldthaus in the 79th minute of play. Bernardo Raggio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trond Soltveit's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After 83 played minutes Belgrano de Pibasog got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Ilinca. 90 minutes into the game, Aksel Røyrvik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Pladask's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgrano de Pibasog the free kick. In the 90th minute, Aksel Røyrvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 played minutes FC Pladask got a freekick which was hit by Aksel Røyrvik. 93 minutes into the match, Iulian Ilinca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Grønningsæter. FC Pladask's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iulian Ilinca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The supporters of FC Pladask booed when Belgrano de Pibasog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pawel Grabowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Belgrano de Pibasog supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Belgrano de Pibasog would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
