With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulgencio Berdoi in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fredric Ahlén saved Finninge Fotboll from getting behind. Štefan Semeno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Germán Kanø in the 19th minute. Finninge Fotboll's attentive Sven-Olof Sundberg managed to snatch the ball when Roger Peiro made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. Germán Kanø might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Štefan Semeno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Germán Kanø ran back to his position shaking his head. Fredric Ahlén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Şemsettin Şahruh got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dušan Venžík. 31 minutes into the match, Finninge Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Di Giambattista came free, but Fredric Ahlén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Di Giambattista in the 31st minute of play forced Finninge Fotboll's goalkeeper Fredric Ahlén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was a well-played corner which Mark Täman managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fulgencio Berdoi in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fredric Ahlén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fredric Ahlén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Berdoi in the 40th minute of play. Štefan Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germán Kanø in the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After taking down the ball on Villarreal FK's corner Cosimo Michelini fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fredric Ahlén quite easily take care of the ball. After 52 minutes, Cosimo Michelini made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Finninge Fotboll's Fredric Ahlén tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabio Di Giambattista scored 0-3 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredric Ahlén, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rdth minute of the game Fabio Di Giambattista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Finninge Fotboll's Fredric Ahlén was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fredric Ahlén made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Cosimo Michelini sent off a good shot on target. Villarreal FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
