The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agizul Boukemouch in the 4th minute of play forced Finninge Fotboll's goalkeeper Fredric Ahlén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Germán Kanø in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teo Marino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute, Leo Repplinger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Gelb Fußballverein★DAC★'s goalkeeper Teo Marino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Germán Kanø. Germán Kanø might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teo Marino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Germán Kanø ran back to his position shaking his head. Fredric Ahlén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Demeester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Finninge Fotboll booed when Gelb Fußballverein★DAC★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Repplinger didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Arlo Leguade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Germán Kanø was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Finninge Fotboll getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gabriel Avădanei hit a great ball. Agizul Boukemouch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Fredric Ahlén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Arlo Leguade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fredric Ahlén was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 61 played minutes Gelb Fußballverein★DAC★ got a freekick which was hit by Vali Costandin. Henning Kempf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fredric Ahlén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlo Leguade in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Marin Cînu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fredric Ahlén was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 69 minutes of play, Finninge Fotboll's Germán Kanø made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teo Marino was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Marin Cînu got free with Fredric Ahlén in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Demeester in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fredric Ahlén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 78 in the game by Marin Cînu from a close distance when the talented Fredric Ahlén managed to make a qualified save. Finninge Fotboll's players were relieved. After 82 played minutes Finninge Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Avădanei. In the 86th minute of the match, Arlo Leguade tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fredric Ahlén saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fredric Ahlén made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Marin Cînu sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Arlo Leguade fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fredric Ahlén, passed just outside the right post. If Arlo Leguade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
