The Clapham Comets F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lee Kerr should have stopped the shot. Cumhur Tanacan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Östen Stor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lee Kerr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Deportivo Pucho fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Deportivo Pucho's Claudio-Paul Caniggia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Deportivo Pucho's Oliver Can proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Pucho from getting a goal against them. If Brendon Bale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, one of Clapham Comets F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Paijo Prima did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Oliver Can 41 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Deportivo Pucho's Inocencio Patxi was substituted for Timoteo Eneko. The wind increased when Ahmet Nasir Nesefi made the kick off in the second half. Lee Kerr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Nasir Nesefi in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Clapham Comets F.C. booed when Deportivo Pucho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 60th minute of the match, Ahmet Nasir Nesefi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lee Kerr saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Oliver Can took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paijo Prima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Paijo Prima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Can saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Östen Stor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lee Kerr having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pucho's goal looked a bit too open when Paijo Prima came free, but Oliver Can reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fitz Hubbard hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Oliver Can took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paijo Prima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Deportivo Pucho had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
