Oliver Can was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Vasco Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 11th minute of play forced ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goalkeeper Vasco Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliver Can came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Adrianinho Meirelles. But to his dismay, Adrianinho Meirelles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Adrianinho Meirelles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Oliver Can when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Oliver Can made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrianinho Meirelles in the 30th minute of play. Deportivo Pucho were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Archie Litchfield took the corner. The corner led to Deportivo Pucho's Julio Tolino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 39th minute Julio Tolino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Goycochea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Paulo Milio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Östen Stor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Vasco Goycochea made a huge save. Julio Tolino scored 4-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vasco Goycochea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Mai Bin Kuan was substituted for Adrianinho Meirelles. Vasco Goycochea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Nasir Nesefi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 played minutes ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ got a freekick which was hit by Oliverios Gayangos. A throw-in in the 77th minute of the game was made by Paulo Milio with Archie Litchfield as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mai Bin Kuan in the 80th minute of play forced Deportivo Pucho's goalkeeper Oliver Can to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute of the match, Ahmet Nasir Nesefi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vasco Goycochea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Oliver Can made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Bin Kuan in the 83rd minute of play. Mai Bin Kuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oliver Can read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Paulo Milio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Pucho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ the free kick. If Mai Bin Kuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Deportivo Pucho defense, Mai Bin Kuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oliver Can. The Deportivo Pucho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oliver Can should have stopped the shot. Nikolay Dudevski kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
