In the 9th minute, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fortunato Montini. Fortunato Montini yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. A sloppy throw-in by Călin Morovan in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by GG Team FC's Elia Guerini. After 13 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Evtim Kúrdzhev. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Cassaretto in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fortunato Montini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hassan Marcou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Forsyth having to interfere. George Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Scandella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Hassan Marcou came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GG Team FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Enrique Cassaretto scored to the left of an out of position Fortunato Montini, making the score, 4-0. After some careless play in the CD Municipal defense, Hassan Marcou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of George Forsyth. The CD Municipal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that George Forsyth should have stopped the shot. In the 45th minute, Bernardo Scandella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Cassaretto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute the ball was on its way in behind GG Team FC's goalkeeper Fortunato Montini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fortunato Montini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Cassaretto went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Enrique Cassaretto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fortunato Montini was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After having played for 56 minutes, Bernardo Scandella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. George Forsyth made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Dennis Man sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Man came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Mans short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got George Forsyth to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. George Forsyth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Scandella in the 91st minute of play. Dennis Man could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but George Forsyth made a huge save. After a rather tough play, GG Team FC's Patryk Ulmark got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 96th match minute, GG Team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patryk Ulmark to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CD Municipal fans cheered their team off the field, for while GG Team FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
