The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 12th minute, Dieguito Van Der Kuijlen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th match minute, Mama que Sabor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Martxel to maneuver through the defense. Loco De la Maza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Benvide in the 15th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dieguito Van Der Kuijlen got free with Loco De la Maza in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute Mama que Sabor were awarded a corner. Zygmunt Ochabski went to the cornerflag to take it. Teo Costante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Vialli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes, Urbano Shantala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falckner FC and the Mama que Sabor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Shantala. The crowd rose to their feet as Wilfredo Benvide kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Loco De la Maza. That made the score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. Mama que Sabor's Teo Costante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianluca Vialli in the 33rd minute of play. Loco De la Maza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Tonali in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Tonali in the 44th minute of play forced Falckner FC's goalkeeper Loco De la Maza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dieguito Van Der Kuijlen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Loco De la Maza made a huge save. Loco De la Maza made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Dieguito Van Der Kuijlen sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dieguito Van Der Kuijlen was the one to do the kick off. Falckner FC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Mama que Sabor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gianluca Vialli took the corner. Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Teo Costante in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Falckner FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mama que Sabor the free kick. In the 95th minute, Arnulfo Evis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Falckner FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Mama que Sabor's much stronger midfield.
