Mans's Erdinç Yalgın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Bartoli in the 39th minute of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Alfred Bourlier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Revolución Joao FC's Olavo Velloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Deng Tian Jun charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Deng Tian Jun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusébio Cosme was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Youssef Malek got free with Erdinç Yalgın in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Gavril Stoican managed to get in a good position for a shot. Revolución Joao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavril Stoican was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erdinç Yalgın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mans's Silvio Jatsu was substituted for Eusébio Cosme. Mans were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Revolución Joao FC to leave the ground with a draw.
