Christoffer Modig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Txatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Oakcroft Thrashers's zone, Jeronimo Txatxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christoffer Modig came out of the goal and Jeronimo Txatxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BuanaRaya's Cătălin Ostoici proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save BuanaRaya from getting a goal against them. Christoffer Modig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoris Katsafanas, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Cătălin Ostoici made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ingemar Jonasson sent off a good shot on target. Christoffer Modig didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iago Romero went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cătălin Ostoici had great luck who in the 32ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Ingemar Jonasson from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ingemar Jonasson had several of the BuanaRaya's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Cătălin Ostoici as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 36th minute of the match Jeronimo Txatxu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christoffer Modig showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Grigoris Katsafanas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Christoffer Modig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christoffer Modig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoris Katsafanas, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jörn Holm to make the kick off. BuanaRaya's Cătălin Ostoici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Holm in the 52nd minute of play. Ingemar Jonasson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cătălin Ostoici having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Jonasson in the 54th minute of play forced BuanaRaya's goalkeeper Cătălin Ostoici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes in the game, Jörn Holm dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Oakcroft Thrashers's Christoffer Modig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Txatxu in the 57th minute of play. Grigoris Katsafanas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. BuanaRaya's Dagoberto Furlan was substituted for Gerard Pique. Christoffer Modig came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by BuanaRaya's Jeronimo Txatxu. But to his dismay, Jeronimo Txatxu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Oakcroft Thrashers made a substitution. Tage Mattsson replaced Ingemar Jonasson. In the 84th minute Jörn Holm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Ostoici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Iago Romero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BuanaRaya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. 88 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Txatxu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christoffer Modig. Oakcroft Thrashers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeronimo Txatxu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Christoffer Modig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Txatxu in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoris Katsafanas in the 93rd minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Christoffer Modig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christoffer Modig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigoris Katsafanas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oakcroft Thrashers's Christoffer Modig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Oakcroft Thrashers from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BuanaRaya eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
