Gremio Viana's Amado Melo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mahmut Aurelio, made in the 21st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pars Samet in the 23rd minute of play forced Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Samuel Fiúza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Jiang De shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Guo Wen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of BRUGGE FC booed when Gremio Viana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albi Koka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gremio Viana's Samuel Fiúza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Avelar in the 58th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, BRUGGE FC's Rui Avelar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Fiúza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Gremio Viana made a substitution. Carlos Luna replaced Jiang De. Serafim Salles made in the 70th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which 蒋誉朋 however managed to control. Pars Samet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shi Guo Wen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Luna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gremio Viana getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Mohamed Ali Bomba hit a great ball. Peter De Boel kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes BRUGGE FC got a freekick which was hit by Peter De Boel. In the 90th minute, Carlos Luna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peter De Boel made in the 92nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Radoslaw Zagrodny however managed to control.
