In the 16th minute Quetzal Flyers Hammers were awarded a corner. Anibal Haritzeder went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 17th minute José Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Marines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, José Carneiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francesco Marines. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Carneiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, José Carneiro took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Francesco Marines to make any attempt to save it. Selçuk Özgebay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Tony Cote left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quetzal Flyers Hammers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Francesco Marines was a little too slow when José Carneiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Carneiro got free with Francesco Marines in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sonny Perkins made the kick off in the second half. Francesco Marines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francesco Marines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carneiro in the 54th minute of play. Francesco Marines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. José Carneiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francesco Marines read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Cote in the 64th minute of play forced Ema City's goalkeeper Bartosz Trzenzalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Carneiro in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Marines prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sonny Perkins might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartosz Trzenzalski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sonny Perkins ran back to his position shaking his head. Ema City's Bartosz Trzenzalski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Ema City from getting a goal against them. Ema City's Cezary Nalaskowski was substituted for Diego Soñora. José Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Ema City's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Cote came free, but Bartosz Trzenzalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Francesco Marines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Carneiro in the 91st minute of play. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Mo Si Sha managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Qiu Wei Yan in the 94 minute of the game. Francesco Marines didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Carneiro went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score.
