The audience thought a goal was coming when Olli Fiedler got free with Oso Amezaga in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, Olli Fiedler notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of C.A. GUAYACO's Oso Amezaga. Oso Amezaga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oso Amezaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olli Fiedler in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olli Fiedler in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oso Amezaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the C.A. GUAYACO defense, Olli Fiedler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oso Amezaga. The C.A. GUAYACO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oso Amezaga should have stopped the shot. Rodrigo Caborredondo made in the 27th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Caicedo Berrondo however managed to control. Alberto Fidencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to C.A. GUAYACO getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Hieronim Faron hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olli Fiedler in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. GUAYACO's Oso Amezaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olli Fiedler in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Olli Fiedler reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oso Amezaga. The goal made the score 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Olli Fiedler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Luan Toro's supporters rose to their feet, but Olli Fiedler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oso Amezaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Olli Fiedler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caicedo Berrondo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olli Fiedler in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oso Amezaga saved C.A. GUAYACO from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Roland in the 70th minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Oso Amezaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oso Amezaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martins Palermo's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's Martins Palermo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oso Amezaga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oso Amezaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martins Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 77 minutes of play, Sportivo Luan Toro's Martins Palermo made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oso Amezaga was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's Martins Palermo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oso Amezaga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oso Amezaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jo Barone in the 91st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Martins Palermo put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Oso Amezaga. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sportivo Luan Toro fully deserved thier win.
