Adelino Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho Gonzalez having to interfere. El Gallo de Moron's Nacho Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Txomin in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Luisinho Laguna notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Spams's Faustino Jerold. Faustino Jerold was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nacho Gonzalez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Cordario in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Luisinho Laguna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustino Jerold was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Faustino Jerold stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisinho Laguna's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisinho Laguna in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustino Jerold saved Spams from getting behind. When El Gallo de Moron's Luisinho Laguna in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Spams's goalie prevented a goal. After 36 played minutes Spams got a freekick which was hit by Šime Vrsaljko. Luisinho Laguna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustino Jerold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Faustino Jerold stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisinho Laguna's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Martin Cubillos kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After 48th play minutes Adelino Saldanha shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Nacho Gonzalez and just under the crossbar into goal. After the first half El Gallo de Moron were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luisinho Laguna made a kick off. In the 62nd minute, Natalio Telo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 65 minutes, Luisinho Laguna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Gallo de Moron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisinho Laguna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Santio got a throw-in 70 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Vinícius Servaes. In the 71st minute Godfredo Galtero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisinho Laguna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Faustino Jerold made a huge save. Nacho Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Servaes in the 77th minute of play. Teofilo Garrote fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Jerold having to interfere. Vinícius Servaes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nacho Gonzalez having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisinho Laguna got free with Faustino Jerold in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nacho Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinícius Servaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faustino Jerold made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Luisinho Laguna sent off a good shot on target. After 94 played minutes El Gallo de Moron got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Mikolas. In the 100th minute of the game Adrián Guillermo made a throw-in which Natalio Telo played forward. When the match was over El Gallo de Moron could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Spams throughout the match.
