Callegari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tʂ MҽყԃαɳGüƈü Ⓢ③⑤'s goalkeeper Metin Aktaş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute Callegari were awarded a corner. Pedro Augusto de Godoi went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Ramón Paraibano heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of Tʂ MҽყԃαɳGüƈü Ⓢ③⑤ booed when Callegari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes Callegari got a freekick which was hit by César Pires. When Tʂ MҽყԃαɳGüƈü Ⓢ③⑤'s Arif Bilge Kumanbay in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Callegari's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 49th minute of the game, when Pedro Augusto de Godoi after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Tʂ MҽყԃαɳGüƈü Ⓢ③⑤'s goal. Pedro Augusto de Godoi was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramón Paraibano made a kick off. In the 62nd minute Ramón Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Metin Aktaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Callegari's Rony Peixoto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Şansal Tuncay in the 79 minute of the game. Eduardo Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Metin Aktaş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Callegari. Despite being the better team, Callegari failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
