Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Key Biscayne FC's Reginald Bledsoe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bernardo Byrne was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Asher Huggins, was totally fooled by San Lorenzo's Rodrigo Jakes, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 8 minutes into the game, Victorino Nafarroa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Lorenzo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Key Biscayne FC the free kick. The supporters of Key Biscayne FC booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Nafarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to San Lorenzo getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Rodrigo Jakes hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo's Teofilo Mercurio got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo's Erasmo Maureo got a free kick in the 18th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as San Lorenzo's Rodrigo Jakes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Asher Huggins. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. The attack was good, but when Erasmo Maureo in the 26th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Victorino Nafarroa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Asher Huggins. That made the score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Key Biscayne FC's zone, Erasmo Maureo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asher Huggins came out of the goal and Erasmo Maureo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 36 in the game by Rodrigo Jakes from a close distance when the talented Asher Huggins managed to make a qualified save. Key Biscayne FC's players were relieved. Rodrigo Jakes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erasmo Maureo to strike the kick off in the second half. Asher Huggins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Jakes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Erasmo Maureo managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Maureo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asher Huggins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sandy Ivey kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to Key Biscayne FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Lorenzo MacWilliams hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Earl Humphries hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Jakes took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Asher Huggins. Asher Huggins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. When Rodrigo Jakes came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the San Lorenzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Jakes couldn't finish the play. If Sandy Ivey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Key Biscayne FC booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Elia didn't get a good kick on the ball. San Lorenzo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
