An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Reyes in the 6th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Benicio Senen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Lucas Reyes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Senen. AFC FUSION's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Reyes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 17th match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Frechoso to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Guillen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 18th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ramon Ibon. After some careless play in the AFC FUSION defense, Lucas Reyes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benicio Senen. The AFC FUSION fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benicio Senen should have stopped the shot. After 29 played minutes La Candela FC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Guillelmus. Benicio Senen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Candela FC played a much better game than AFC FUSION and deserved their victory. The AFC FUSION players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
