Raimundo Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Gerazan in the 2nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cable a Tierra's Danilo Demesio got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Amador Arias was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Romão Miranda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cable a Tierra's Sergio Dominic got a free kick in the 9th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Vinicio Gerazan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cable a Tierra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Gerazan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cosme Turi charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Turi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Cosme Turi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Kelemen in the 19th minute of play forced Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Raimundo Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romão Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Garanhão do SUL's Raimundo Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Kelemen in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Moutinho to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Gerazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Garanhão do SUL's zone, Serafin Ihintza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Delgado came out of the goal and Serafin Ihintza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermengildo Gutxi took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raimundo Delgado. Raimundo Delgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Patrício Poças had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermengildo Gutxi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Vinicio Gerazan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cable a Tierra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Gerazan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Amador Arias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amador Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrício Poças in the 55th minute of the match. With 56 minutes on the clock, Reynaldo Lauren commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Cable a Tierra:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Garanhão do SUL:s goal. The referee gave Garanhão do SUL a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Romão Miranda, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cable a Tierra's Amador Arias. 2-1. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Filinto Coelho hit a great ball. Garanhão do SUL's Álvaro Calçada was substituted for Patrício Poças. Filinto Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Santiago Kelemen came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Cable a Tierra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santiago Kelemen couldn't finish the play. Cable a Tierra made a substitution. Edelmiro Gimenez replaced Serafin Ihintza. Cable a Tierra's Angelo Erauso was substituted for Cosme Turi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santiago Kelemen in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimundo Delgado saved Garanhão do SUL from getting behind. Santiago Kelemen kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Calçada in the 97th minute of play forced Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Amador Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
