Azulgrana 81's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lupere FC - DMZ the free kick. Alvaro Karmel made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Gonçalo Baptista sent off a good shot on target. Alvaro Karmel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Karmel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Baptista in the 16th minute of play. Lupere FC - DMZ's Marcinho Goiano was substituted for Durvalino Ortiz. Anselmo Chano hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonçalo Baptista in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Karmel saved Azulgrana 81 from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Lupere FC - DMZ's Zé Augusto Mineiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alvaro Karmel. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. Marcinho Goiano took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Karmel. Alvaro Karmel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Gonçalo Baptista in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alvaro Karmel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Augusto Mineiro during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zé Augusto Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcinho Goiano got free with Alvaro Karmel in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zé Augusto Mineiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Karmel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonçalo Baptista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Walmir Leme made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Prudencio Chale sent off a good shot on target. Alvaro Karmel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lupere FC - DMZ's Gonçalo Baptista shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Gonçalo Baptista struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Alvaro Karmel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lupere FC - DMZ. The audience was convinced that Gonçalo Baptista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Karmel was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. If Zé Augusto Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Baptista in the 77th minute of play forced Azulgrana 81's goalkeeper Alvaro Karmel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Chano kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Gonçalo Baptista might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Karmel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonçalo Baptista ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the match, Azulgrana 81's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Baptista came free, but Alvaro Karmel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavinho Tavares hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute Zé Augusto Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Karmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lupere FC - DMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Azulgrana 81 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
