Esteban Poz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Pedro Maraman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteban Poz. Cachiyuyo EAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Maraman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Pedro Maraman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Samuel Ihazintu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cachiyuyo EAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palermo the free kick. Samuel Ihazintu kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Donato Kelemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute Pedro Maraman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Poz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Ihazintu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Candido Millan having to make a save. In the 43rd minute Dalmacio Venceslao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Palermo were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Maraman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Pedro Maraman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute, Pedro Maraman made a precise shot to the right of Esteban Poz. Cachiyuyo EAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Anastasio Hotz kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Baldomiro Gamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Esteban Poz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Kelemen's late challenge caught a Cachiyuyo EAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Kelemen helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Donato Kelemen. Niceto Erauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Candido Millan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cachiyuyo EAS getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Emilio Louis hit a great ball. Baldomiro Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Poz having to interfere. Dalmacio Venceslao hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Cecilio Macario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachiyuyo EAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Macario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Millan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Cachiyuyo EAS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Palermo's performance. The match ended with a win for Palermo.
