The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to C. A. Atlanta getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Fidel Gonsalvo hit a great ball. When Niceto Erauso fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachiyuyo EAS's protests and gave Niceto Erauso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Niceto Erauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Arturo Flores had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteban Poz. Cachiyuyo EAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Flores was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 28th match minute, Cachiyuyo EAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Hotz to maneuver through the defense. Esteban Poz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Silvio Oinatz came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the C. A. Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvio Oinatz couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Flores in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Poz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the game, Arturo Flores cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Esteban Poz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arturo Flores to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Cachiyuyo EAS were awarded a corner. Florentino Enekoitz went to the cornerflag to take it. Esteban Poz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Flores in the 59th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Cachiyuyo EAS got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Venceslao. After 78 minutes, Anastasio Hotz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cachiyuyo EAS and the C. A. Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cachiyuyo EAS's Esteban Poz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Flores in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Flores in the 94th minute of play forced Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper Esteban Poz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Cachiyuyo EAS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C. A. Atlanta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
