Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serafim Simão in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Poz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Serafim Simão sped through Cachiyuyo EAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Esteban Poz. Cachiyuyo EAS's Esteban Poz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Simão in the 21st minute of play. Palestra do Interior's Serafim Simão was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 24th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Serafim Simão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Esteban Poz made a huge save. 29 minutes into the game, Serafim Simão lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Esteban Poz. 33 minutes into the match Serafim Simão climbed in front of goal and pressed up 5-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Esteban Poz. Esteban Poz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jhon Barcellos in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

When Palestra do Interior's Jhon Barcellos in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cachiyuyo EAS's Esteban Poz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Esteban Poz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafim Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 90th minute, Serafim Simão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteban Poz was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Palestra do Interior's Serafim Simão got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Palestra do Interior's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
